Jesse’s Thought-provoking Thursdays guest on the “Let’s Talk About It” monthly series John Lesiotis offered the thought of the week when he said of redistricting; “Politicians are picking who they want to represent, versus ‘the people’ choosing who they want to represent them.” In the second hour, The World House” weekly guest host Dr. Johnny Mack and “Jesse Jack” waded in the deep water - dipping into the different aspects of violence that are perpetrated on people who usually can’t fight back: physical, systemic, and structural. The results are devastating when people have fallen asleep or gotten too comfortable. If Dr. King were here, he might admonish us, and direct us to “community” where we again, love and do for ourselves. Heavy weight conversation.
