The LA Jazz Festival was cancelled just days before its scheduled launch. Planned as 17 days of community-based events, socially innovative programming and international artists, culminating in a massive two-day concert on the beach. Since its 11th hour cancellation - the internet and the mainstream media have been wildly speculating. What Really happened? Martin Ludlow is the founder and visionary behind the festival and has spent the past fifteen years working to put it on its feet. Ludlow has 35 years of behind-the-scenes work in the music and social justice movement as a community organizer and producer of large-scale events.
