Go Electric: Cleaner Tools, Healthier Communities

If you could improve air quality and reduce noise in your neighborhood—all while upgrading your lawn equipment—would you? Now you can, thanks to South Coast AQMD’s Electric Lawn and Garden Programs.

Gas-powered lawn tools are noisy, polluting, and outdated. South Coast AQMD is making it easier than ever to switch to cleaner, quieter alternatives by offering rebates, incentives, and exchange opportunities for residents and commercial landscapers.

This summer, South Coast AQMD will host four in-person events where you can exchange equipment or scrap old tools. Registration is required, and details about when and where these events will take place will be available on South Coast AQMD’s website.
