Gregg T. Daniel is an award-winning director, producer, and actor with an extensive career spanning theater, television, and film. A celebrated interpreter of August Wilson’s work, Gregg has directed Joe Turner’s Come and Gone, The Piano Lesson, King Hedley II, Radio Golf, Seven Guitars, and Gem of the Ocean. Gregg is the Founding Member and Artistic Director of Lower Depth Theatre and a graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. As an actor, he has appeared in more than 100 television and film roles (including the HBO show True Blood and Insecure). He is currently directing Ma Rainey's Black Bottom for A Noise Within Theater in Los Angeles.
