Meet Two Candidates for Superior Court Judge: Troy Slaten for Seat 113 +Tal Valbuena for Seat #2

Atty. Troy W. Slaten was one of Hollywood's most recognizable child actors — starring on Cagney & Lacey, Parker Lewis Can't Lose and more. He earned his B.A. in English Literature with Honors from UCLA and his Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law, where he clerked for the LA County District Attorney. Troy became the youngest partner in the history of Floyd, Skeren & Kelly, LLP, managing the Criminal Defense Division from Beverly Hills. Today Troy serves as an Administrative Law Judge for the State of California Atty. Tal Valbuena is a Deputy District Attorney in Mental Health Court, who has tried over 100 cases to verdict. He serves as a County LGBTQ Commissioner and as an adjunct professor, teaching law to ESL students from immigrant backgrounds. He has been endorsed by the LA County Democratic Party and the East Area Progressive Democrats.
